"Family of six (4 kids) enjoyed drinks, meal, and dessert for less than $75 ( that includes tip). Fries are yummy, pasta sauce house made, carrot cake yummy and my husband loved his burger. We got refills on coffee and asked for extra mayonnaise and I was so pleasantly surprised that they don’t nickel and dime you for everything- that is such a pet peeve of mine. This will be a family favorite stop when we travel west from Marquette."

"Cool log building with a great patty melt and fried. Patrons and staff were all really nice. When I came it was dark out and I almost passed it cause the front sign has a light bulb out and is very dim. It was only a mile out of my way going to Green Bay from Mount Bohemia. Prime rib on Saturdays looked delish"

"My hubby & I were getting peckish along our drive and saw the Hardwood Steakhouse so we stopped. We had the chili and a bacon cheeseburger with fries and could not have been more happy. The food was fantastic, our waitress was nice, and the locals around us were very friendly. This is exactly what we like about traveling and stopping in small town, local places!"
